The Town celebrated Earth Day at Richmond Green Park on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 150 students from three Richmond Hill schools, along with the Mayor and Members of Council, staff from the Parks, Recreation & Culture Department, representatives from the Town’s Earth Day project partners, Evergreen and members of the community planted more than 500 trees of 15 varied species native to the Town.
